For young children to develop their speaking and listening they need to have lots of talk time with adults. The ‘ten top tips for talking’ will get you started and can be done any time. The other activities will give you a little inspiration. There are also some songs to listen to and sing along to with your child.
Whatever you do take time to talk to your child, as it is what parents do that makes a difference.
